2024 Achievements

even though i don't believe in 'years'

The amount of time it takes for the Earth to revolve around the sun- that has nothing to do with me. From day to day, there’s no big significant change that marks one from the next, changes are gradual. When the clock strikes 12 on December 31st, nothing immediately changes. I’m sure you understand. From December to January, it’s still winter, it’s still dark out early (though getting lighter) I don’t feel like suddenly because the calendar changed that now is the time I’m going to make my life better.

Habits started because of the New Year dropped by March; I don’t care for resolutions much. The pressure is high, and there’s no reason why they couldn’t have been started already. That’s why I started my goals as fall started to end to carry me through the winter and hopefully help me feel renewed by spring, the actual new year in my opinion. You can feel things change then.

But, I did have a goal that I made in 2023, to get my work published at least 4 times in 2024. And by January 1st 2025 I have had my writing published six times, with some other creative endeavors between. Listed below.
